Summer, Summer, Summertime

Time to sit back and unwind.....

As  the Memorial Weekend  approaches, I am excited for all of the travel and food that will make up the next three months of this awesome season...

There are a few blogs that I LOVE to read and peruse that inspire me to travel the world, eat glorious food, and be incandescently happy on a 24/7 basis.  I want to share them with you in hopes that you become inspired to LIVE LIFE to it's absolute fullest this summer - starting with this weekend!!!!!!

In my world, food and love are pretty much synonymous and this website seriously enables my love of/for food!  If you are in the NYC area, do yourself a favor and follow this site.

Their posts as well as restaurant list and suggestions are amazing.  The site is run by young ppl, so the information is fresh and definitely up to date.  Whether you are looking for a date spot or just a spot to grab a taco and a cocktail - Food Before Love should be one of the first places you check out!!

They also throw events, sadly I have never been able to make on yet, but best believe it is a MUST DO this summer!!!

The woman who runs this site is an all out inspiration and I encourage you to read her story on her site.

In a nutshell, she gave up on trying to fit the typical adult life "way of life" - college, job, career, family, kids - and decided to just TRAVEL!!!  She documents and blogs all of her experiences and journeys.  all in all - I truly believe the world would be a much better place if we all just enjoyed life through travel.  

Secretly, I hope my life and blog will be something like hers - kinda jealous but truly in awe!!!!! If anyone knows her, please tell her she has a true fan in me!

Travel & Food just happen to be my things - I am spending this opening weekend of summer in the Poconos with some great friends; road trip, great company, and BARBEQUE'S!!!!!  (i'm such a fat kid - lol!!!)  

And I have one trip planned for each month of the summer:
June: Atlantic City
July: Italy
August: TBD (maybe Philly)
